Included in GEOstrip SystemsTM are the Horizontal Well Striplog and Final Well Report Module. Some features specific to the Horizontal Striplog are:

HORIZONTAL LAYOUT:

Striplog layout is horizontal on computer screen and on the print off. Measured Depth (MD) runs horizontal and True Vertical Depth (TVD) runs vertically. The True Vertical Depth (TVD) is scale enhanced in order to view log information. All existing columns are now available as rows for Log Layout.

WELL BORE CROSS SECTION TRACK:

A new Well Bore Cross Section Track which indicates the well path within a Measured Depth (MD) and True Vertical Depth (TVD) grid. WBCS track can display Proposed and Actual Well path, Survey text points, all Lithology Symbols, Geological Text Descriptions, Geological Comments and Engineering Comments. Also GEOstrip can use the existing Linking Feature to embed digital photos, log files, documents, folders, etc to the WBCS.

IMPORT & DISPLAY SURVEY DATA AND WELL PATHS:

Import Survey data from files or manually and have it automatically plot and display Proposed and Actual Well Paths on WBCS. Survey Parameters are selectable for display in selectable WBCS or Curve Track. Survey data includes Measured depth (MD), True Vertical Depth (TVD), Angle, Direction, Latitude, Longitude, Vertical Section and Dog Leg.

POINTER LINES & RECTANGLE

Draw printer lines to draw attention to details that may not fit in a specific space. You can also create rectangles around any area on WBCS.
